Betty's Community Transport
Home to Hospital and Return Support Service

In memory of Betty, who served 40 years at Midland Red as a ticket conductor.

We are pleased to launch ‘Betty’s Community Transport’ Service from 1st October 2025. This service is to help support people in the community to gain access to transport from home to hospital appointments and then hospital to home. This has been a real gap since Tamworth Community Transport ended in June 2024, and the many requests we receive through either our helpline, social prescribers or via our Community Café support.
